Completed her BSc
in Microbiology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Mithibai College,
University of Mumbai. Has undertaken a post graduate programme in Biochemistry
at Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, University of Mumbai. She has
excelled in her MSc examination being ranked 5th in the University of
Mumbai and has a dissertation on 'Plasma Electrolytes in Cardiac Disorders'
to her credit. To add to her merits, she has worked as a Research Assistant
on an 'Adverse Drug Reactions' project (funded by the Central Government
of India) at Clinical Pharmacology, KEM Hospital under the esteemed guidance
of Dr N A Kshirsagar who is currently the President of the Indian Pharmacological
Society.
Her research interests include protein/ peptide vaccine & diagnostic reagent
development and therapeutic immunology.
