Experience covers:

Teaching of biostatistics, demography and research methods to postgraduate medical, nursing courses and MSc (Biostatistics) students; undergraduate courses in medicine, hospital administration and others.   Providing statistical consultation to research projects in the planning, execution, analysis, interpretation and preparation of reports. The nature of research includes field surveys, both prospective and retrospective studies, clinical trials, laboratory experiments and evaluation studies.   Data processing using mainframe and personal computers including LAN systems.

Currently have been conducting the following research projects as Principal Investigator: 'Factors Influencing Decision Making on Health and Medical Care Expenditure'- sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi.   'Long Term Survival of Vasectomized Cases'- funded by CMC Fluid Research Funds. 'Longitudinal Studies on Child Growth and Development'- funded by USAID. 'Maternal Nutrition, Fetal Growth and Coronary Risk Factors in Young Adults'- funded by British Heart Foundation, UK (Co- Principal Investigation).

I have about 100 publications to my credit consisting of books and papers.
