  • Child – to – mother approach: Using children as the messengers in educating the mothers.
  • Workbook approach: Printing Nutrition Messages in the children’s workbook to educate the      children as well as the mothers on Nutrition.

Education through Mass media such as Television, News papers and Radio talks.

Current research in Home Science: Was instrumental in starting a research journal replacing the college magazine, for providing an opportunity to the young Home Scientists to publish their quality research works and worked as chief editor of the journal for the first two years.

Research reach – Journal of Home Science: Chief Editor, Published by college of Home Science, Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai.

Ever green approach: Involving Children in growing Leafy Vegetables in order to give them Science experience and later using the harvest in their midday meal program.

My Vision:
1). To set up a Central Food Testing Laboratory in Bombay that would serve the food industries and the research scientists to provide analytical results that are reliable and accurate.
2). A strong desire to establish An Excellent Clinical Testing Laboratory for testing the biological materials.
3). A Council for Home Science Research that covers Foods and Nutrition, Human Development, Family Resource Management, Textiles and Clothing and Extension Education. This center should help the Research Programs in Colleges and Universities to:
star Avoid duplication unless justified.
