at KEM Hospital & Seth GS Medical College, Bombay. Qualified in 1971.
Current clinical work- in charge of a 47 bedded neonatal intensive care
unit and a neonatal unit comprising of 5000- 6000 normal babies. Director
of a Human Milk Bank. Major interests are community Neonatology, Lactation
Management, Human milk banking and appropriate technology for survival
of neonates in developing countries Carried out a study in Maternal & Placental determinants of Intrauterine growth in an Urban Slum Population.
