For more than three decades, SNEHA has worked with communities across rural Karnataka to widen access to education, safety and economic opportunity.
Founded in 1993 by T. Ramanjaneya, the organisation brings local knowledge, long-term presence and a commitment to dignity in every partnership. SNEHA works across selected communities in Karnataka through education, community participation, training and access to public programmes and services.

Each area of work is designed with people closest to the experience, and shaped for lasting practical value.
Since 1994, this programme has strengthened early childhood education through child-friendly Anganawadi learning spaces, teacher training and Village Learning Centres. It reaches 143 centres in 77 villages in Ilkal and 162 centres in 73 villages in Devara Hipparagi, alongside support for rural girls' health vocational education.

Working with children and women from Devadasi families across Ballari, Vijayanagara, Koppala, Bagalakote, Vijayapura, Belagavi and Rayachuru. The programme connects families to public services and provides financial literacy and enterprise training to more than 1,000 women in self-help groups each year.

Supporting adolescent girls from Devadasi and Dalit families through Kishori Groups, protection information, education support, career guidance and life skills. Vocational training in tailoring, fashion design, office management and digital skills benefits around 300 adolescent girls each year.
